The Ancestral Gallery: Rabbits
When we were kids, my sister and I had two rabbits. Lars and Lena. After some years Lena sadly passed away and we got Lilly.
As a birthday present I painted Lilly ( I can’t quite remember, whom it was a present for) but my mom thought the painting looked like belongs in an Ancestral Gallery. I loved the idea and over time I painted the other two rabbits. Now we have this Ancestral Gallery in my parents corridor and the only one still missing is Maja, the Labrador I grew up with.
Here you can see the paintings. I love how I can notice that I did improve with oil colors by painting the cuties.

The snow bird: A Christmas present for Christine (2019)
I did that as a Christmas present for my best friends mum- she likes birds

“Apfelmalertreffen” (May 2017)
In May 2017, I was a participant in the Apfelmalertreffen by Herdin Radtke. A group of mostly adults painted according to the artist’s instructions together an apple with oil color. The event took place in the spa park of Bad Salzschlirf. It was an exciting experience and later I painted some more apples and other figures in oil by myself.
